Post Christmas closet clean out! Time to trash or donate! The holidays have been really hectic this year. Grandma has been in and out of the hospital or rehab center since my first day of vacation, so I haven’t really had a vacation at all. So,
I got a ukulele for Christmas. I have been teaching myself chords out off of this little laminated chart that came with it and now I have a deformed left hand. Seriously. It hurts.
On the bright side I can almost play Over the Rainbow. I just need to work on keeping time, and cord progression…but I’m really not doing bad considering Ive only had it a day.

I took a nap today and it was marvelous.
Yup.
Our principal is a well meaning crazy lady. She is one camera away from being a you tube sensation. In October she requested that instead of using our CDB (district benchmark) data or regular classroom assessments, she wanted us to administer 10 question “mini tests” that she created with the help of our math and science specialists.
It took my kids about 3 hours to complete 10 math...
