Yesterday was beyond difficult. I was really proud of myself for not crying, especially when a few of my kiddos did. I have a huge stack of cards and pictures, and my arms are sore from hugging so many people.
A new adventure begins Monday…one that I wasn’t expecting, but an adventure none the less.

One of my friends from college contacted me recently and let me know that her brother has a huge “in” to Austin ISD…his wife is the superintendent’s secretary, and he works in another part of the district too. I love my cousins. They call me to hang out and then tell me that if I do come over that it’s a mandatory slumber party because its raining…haha.

MENTAL HEALTH DAY TMR!
The gym has been great for getting out my frustrations, but when push comes to shove, I just need a day off to get it together. The weekends fly by, and with only two days, roughly 1.5 is reserved for getting ahead. This week I decided I deserve a nice, long, four day weekend, and I dont/wont feel guilty about it!
